Ammonia block ice plants

Brine tank coils made for block ice plants, with headers and connections to suit the contractor.

Brine agitators

V-belt agitators (36 or 48 inch, 12–24 inch fans, up to 450 rpm) and direct-driven high-speed agitators.

1440 rpm: 1–10 HP, cast iron
960 rpm: 5, 7.5, 10 HP, MS

Ice cans

GI or stainless ice cans with riveted, painted or galvanised top band.

Block size: 50–200 kg
Sheet: 16 g 1.5 mm GI/SS, 18 g 1.2 mm SS

Ice crushers

Mobile electric crushers for single blocks up to 75 kg, and heavy-duty 7.5 HP crushers in MS or SS for large plants.

Hoists and ice handling

Electric-cum-manual can hoists (0–400 kg, 1 HP, chain with candog), hand hoists for sites with power problems, and electric chain or wire-rope hoists up to 5 tonnes. Also slide rails, candogs, ice block holders and agitator fans.

Ice plant materials

Wooden frames, galvanised and SS flat bars, galvanised channels and angles for brine tanks and can grids.

Reconditioning of ice plants and cold storages

We assess, clean, repair and upgrade old plants with modern machinery to cut power consumption, lower discharge pressure, improve ice quality and extend plant life.
